Capital Punishment: The Big Four

Britain's Tony Blair points out that 97% of the executions in the world are conducted by four nations: (1) China, (2) Vietnam, (3) Iran, and (4) The United States. Is that really a club we want to be a member of?

On the Colbert Report last night they had a bit about how scandalized they were that China was ahead of us in the number of reporters jailed, and suggested a way on how to beat them at this. It ended with a mention of the death penalty ranking, saying "China's executed over 10000 prisoners already, so let's get cracking!" Pretty amusing.
