The article is a great example of the let's-convert-from-metric-to-English without-thinking genre. "About" 551,155 tons? I'm sure the original article had 500,000 [metric] tons. I'll forgive the 3.5 ounces, but what's wrong with saying 100 grams? As for gasoline from dung? Good luck making it feasible.
